How to upload your book
Picture 1- To create a rental, you must click the "Plus" icon the arrow is pointing to.
Picture 2- Press "Scan Barcode" if you have a readable barcode on the back of your book.
Picture 3- Once you have typed in the 13-digit ISBN, press this upload button.
Picture 4- Check if the book page is correct and press submit.
There are two primary ways to upload a book. This can be done by scanning the barcode containing the ISBN on the back of your book or by manually entering the 13-digit ISBN number manually (the number that starts with 978).
This process is initiated by pressing the “Add” icon in the center of the bottom screen navigation (Picture 1).
From there, you can pick to scan or manually enter based on the options given on the page.
If you scan the book, you must initiate by pressing the scan barcode bottom at the bottom of the page (Picture 2). You must turn your back to the back and scan the white label on the right side.
If this option does not work, we recommend that you type in the fully 13-digit number starting with 978 into the enter option (DO NOT retype the 978 as we have already typed that for you). When you finish typing it out, you must press the upload button to the right of the textbox (Picture 3).
After this, you will be prompted with the information regarding your book. If it is correct, then you will press confirm (Picture 4).
Following these steps, the app will guide you to show pictures of your rental and have you decide on your intended price, preferred meetup days and locations, and your Return Deadline.
