My book is damaged or hasn’t been returned

How to get to the report rental page from the Manage Rentals tab. You do this by either clicking the three buttons or swiping.

While we try to make it so every book is returned back to the lender in pristine condition, we understand that this cannot always be the case. However, as per our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to charge the party that has either not returned or damaged the book and send to that the affected party.


NOTE: All Reimbursement Requests MUST be done within 48 hours of the Return Deadline or return meetup. Past this point, UGS Rentals LLC has no obligation to assist you in receiving compensation.


To initiate a Reimbursement Request, following the passing of the Return Deadline or a return meetup you will see the option Reimbursement Request on the book you lent you.


Click this button and fill out the information listed.


Following this, an investigation will be launched regarding your claim. You will receive a follow-up email within 24 hours of sending the request. The investigation may find your claim not valid and not provide you with compensation. The investigation may also find your claim to be valid and send you the used market value of the book minus the initial rental price. All decisions by UGS Rentals LLC are FINAL.
