How do I extend the Return Deadline?

Both lenders and renters may have reasons to ask to extend the agreed Return Deadline. The app allows both users to do requests seamlessly. HOWEVER, it is important to note that the other party has NO obligation to accept any requests you may send.


How to send a request


To initiate a rental, you will press the Manage Rentals tab on the bottom screen navigation.



Then you will swipe to the book you are either renting or lending. Then you will swipe left to reveal the report option or click the three buttons on the far right side. The Extension Option will then be visible to you and you will click it.

After that, you will enter in a new date which you want picked and click submit. From there, it may be a good idea to message the other party to ask them to accept the request. You may go back to the Manage Rentals page and back to your book to cancel the request at any time. However, you must note that the app will not allow you to send an excessive amount of requests.


How to accept or reject a request


If you would like to accept or reject the request of the other party, you will go to the same Manage Rentals tab and to the relevant book. Here, you will see an option to accept or reject. You will then click whichever choice you are most comfortable with.
